The Americans - Season 1

What a great and complex spy drama. I don't know why I waited so long to jump on board. 4.5/5

That will be one of my next shows to watch! From what I've heard it got even better in later seasons.

The Gifted - Season 1

I really like the portrayals of some of the X-Men characters from the books--The Stepford Cuckoos in particular. The creators wrote and cast them perfectly. 3.5/5

I've been trying to get into Counterpart, not sure about it yet though it seems to have all the elements that would appeal to me. To met your other self and not like that person or rather that person not like you, must be a mind f***.

Counterpart TV show on Starz: canceled or renewed?

A sci-fi espionage drama from creator Justin Marks, the Counterpart TV series delves into an enigmatic reality which everyday living conceals. The story centers on low-level bureaucrat, Howard Silk (Simmons), who toils away in relative obscurity at at a United Nations spy outfit based in Berlin, Germany.

After uncovering evidence that his agency is protecting a secret about traveling to a parallel dimension, Howard’s whole life changes. He soon plunges headlong into a strange world fraught with peril and treachery.

I stayed up very late one night binging the last 6 or 7 episodes of season two, it was a great experience and that finale sure paid off. I had so much adrenaline afterwards.

Really enjoyed this:

Each new season of this has been worse than the last, but it's still decent enough to persist with:

I watched the first few of these when they were on C4 in the UK.

Big Little Lies (2017)

A soap elevated by a superb cast, including the kids, and wonderful writing and direction.
