that is a decision that will have consequences and I equally support both the bank and those that react to it.

Anyone for banning the AR15 must be on the side of the criminal as once banned only criminals will have them.

Great news. Now hopefully huge amounts of corporations and people in general will boycott these foul pigs. Dana Loesch and Wayne Lapierre are the worst humans alive.

To your first point... This is the language of America. Capitalism. Effect the capital, effect the outcome. It's the only language powerful companies and organizations speak and understand.

"First National Bank of Omaha, the nation’s largest privately owned bank, said Thursday it will not renew its contract with the NRA for a branded Visa card.

Customer feedback has caused us to review our relationship with the NRA,” a bank spokesman said in a statement. “As a result, First National Bank of Omaha will not renew its contract with the National Rifle Association to issue the NRA Visa Card,”

Enterprise, National and Alamo Rental Car Companies are also jumping ship from the NRA. Oh... and the Best Western Wyndam Hotels too.

As I said in the other thread, you're either on the side of the shooter or on the side of the victim.

I'm glad the bank decided to side with the victim.

nope. but if it were to be banned would you satisfied and leave it there or would you push for more bans?

and what about others?

I mean do you really think it would end there or would some other firearm be the next thing in the crosshairs?

Assault weapons were banned between 1994-2004.... when did the increase in mass murder occur with assault weapons?

I know is that a 19 year-old derranged kid was able to EASILY buy them and brutally murder 17 children and he would not have been able to do that 1994-2004 - that is all I need to know.

Agreed.

They are on the side of money - guns are a big business and they do not care who use weapons to kill people or how many die - as long as guns can be made and sold.

Yes, they are on the side of the shooter.

again what was banned between 1994 and 2005? no google tell me... and then tell me how that would have made such a shooter any less able to do what this one did?

And I have asked this as I DO NOT KNOW....was this person actually diagnosed with any form of mental illness that would have 2 years ago precluded him from making the purchase or is that just a way to play the blame game?

that is just not true. that is NOT a reasonable thing say. And I have extremely thick (almost to the point of being a sociopath) skin* and that is a very hateful thing to say--and that nearly offended me.

What I will say is I have been called out for correcting people when they show they do not know what they are talking about guns... and that call out was somewhat valid.. but even then the point is made. In this case, what is the point but to make a hateful accusation against people?

*and I know some want to say "but you always whine when people say...." whatever? I almost never offended I just point out when someone is trying to be as a reminder of the rules.

I find your defense of the weapons these murderers use to gun down children offensive and the time You posted “guns are fun toys” on the Sandy Hook thread the day it happened. And do not forget I was active on the Org when you went under another name and got banned for being beyond offensive. So you being offended that I agree with Rodeo means nothing to me.

guns are fun... and IIRC I did that when someone said their only use is to kill. I believe I said then that 99% all gun use doesn't harm anyone... and I will say 99% of all guns are never used to murder anyone. you are looking at less than 1% of all legal owners and less than 1% of all guns being used to kill others. (to me suicide ought to be left out my brother did not use a gun to kill himself but he had access to guns)

I forgot the rest! LOL so you are offended that I stand to my belief despite an emotionally jarring situation... maybe you hate or fear guns independently of any such horrors.

And I am not offended so much that you agree with rodeo... what you both said IS offensive. [Off topic snip - luv4u]
