But hey, back OT....

What do you want? Trump saying 'Wir schaffen dass?' and open all gates?

Nobody forces those people to go to the US (don't understand why they want to live in an underdeveloped country at all) and they dragging their kids along.

A growing number of both republican and democratic mayors and governors step up to oppose the separation of immigrant families at the border:

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/governors-withdraw-national-guard-troops-over-family-separation-policy/

While these gestures are largely symbolic rather than practical, it's yet another message to the current feckless dishonest administration.

lol I do wonder about the jacket though. Serious fashion faux pas at a critical moment? Honest statement about migrant family separation? Or (and this one is my own personal opinion/preference) direct message to Trump about the state of their marriage?

It never ceases to amaze me how cruel humans can be against fellow humans and animals, especially when in the pursuit of money and power.

It's pretty clear that Trump and his minions consider non-White people to be lesser beings. That's why all his supporters should be questioned about whether they accept this world view or not. If they don't separate themselves from this type of rhetoric, they should not be upset if they are tagged as bigots and racists

I hear the same white supremacist group that showed up at the Charlottesville rally, is going to hold a ‘white civil rights rally’ in front of the White House. Those nuts are crazier and twisted than a sack of sh*t. So I guess trump will be happy to see that part of his base show up and support him. Damn shame the lack of humanity sitting in the White House. Evil.

Exactly. Trump is insecure about the Black and Brown population. Many of his supporters and trump, fear the progress of the Brown and Black people of the world. The entire immigration issue is about the fear of the browning of America. And we know that trump is using the race card intentionally, as a fear tactic to keep many within his support base, in fear of the progress of the Black and Brown progressing economically in America.

Once agsin we see the same, fear tactic white suprenacists used in the past, by promoting their racist ideology, filled with lies and ignorance to brainwash members of their racial group, just to maintain the fear, hate and division.

I wonder what would've happened if all the pilgrims and colonists' children had immediately been seperated and undefinitely detained by the natives as soon as they had arrived to the already occupied 'new' world. After all 'nobody had forced them to to go 'there' either... Would today's America (and Donald Trump) even exist at all?

'Those people' are only following the colonists example in that they are trying to better their lives and children's future, so why are you judging them?

nod This is all about his campaign promise to build a wall - appease his white supremist base, those cheering him on at these rallies. Trump's legacy will be built on this issue - the man responsible for traumatizing the smallest of children by separating them from their parents. This transcends political ideology ---> Trump is openly racist, there is no ifs ands or buts about it.

The world is watching. He MUST be stopped in 2020.
