You are wrong. Once they enter the foster system, chances are they will not get their kids back. I'm not talking about the unaccompanied ones. They shouldn't have went into the foster system to begin with, nor should they've been shipped all over the US.

I do not believe you... and wait? you do not want them in homes or in cages or spread out? so where should they be put?

And do you have any evidence that the kids put into foster care were not unaccompanied?

But yeah how would being in foster care (which is almost always temporary) hinder being reunited with parents?

it seems that nothing short of just being allowed to stay unhindered will make you happy... which is not even what you really believe? you do not believe in open borders NO ONE does.

WTF are you going on about?

Yes, there is evidence that these kids who came over WITH their parents are being put in foster care. LMAO.

You think that 2 year olds are gonna walk across the border by themselves? Who do you think they are shipping all over the US?

One lady last night was released she can't get her child because they have entered the foster care system.

Stop making excuses, what kind of person are you to think this is even ok?

Read up, maybe you'll learn something, instead of just being a Trump follower.

It pisses me off that the kids are being shipped across the US and put in the foster system. Don't ship them out anywhere, don't put them in foster care. Crossing the border is only a misdemeanor. I can't believe we are still dealing with this weeks later and nothing has been done to get this problem corrected, which BTW Trump caused.

I sincerely hope that this opens up voters eyes and start voting these people out.

Back on topic lol

You're correct. These children are being thrown into the system with no traceable way to reunite them with parents. The smaller ones have no idea what's going on only that they've been taken from their parents and shipped cross the country.

The children need to remain WITH their parents and all be processed TOGETHER. Whether that means being granted asylum (good luck under Trump) or being deported back, sadly, to the same unlivable conditions they have fled. They need to remain TOGETHER, period.

This administration wanted to do this. They want to hurt as many parents and kids as possible. It gives them a thrill, a sense of superiority. They have no intention or want to reunite these kids that they have torn away from their parents. They enjoy being the bully. They love it.

It’s trump’s fault this is happening. He approved this tragic situation. His legacy will be known as the evil monster that stole children from another country.

Agree to both. They’re playing to a certain segment within trump’s base by showing them that by taking children from migrants from countries trump dislikes, is a form of punishment he hopes is a deterrent to discourage them from coming here whether legal or illegal. He just doesn’t want people from Brown or Black countries coming here.

They don’t care if those parents were fleeing for their lives leaving everything behind. They just don’t give a damn. Honestly I don’t know how they could sleep at night after hearing the video of children crying for their parents. Shame on them.

'They treated us as though we were animals': Letters from inside an immigration detention facility

By Emanuella Grinberg, Jamiel Lynch and Keith Allen, CNN

Updated at 2:57 PM ET, Wed July 4, 2018

(CNN) — “In the letter, she calls the facility "la perrera" -- the kennel or dog pound -- because of the chain-link cages she and others were held in.
For eight days after she was captured near the US-Mexico border, she says she did not bathe or brush her teeth. She and other women slept on the floor under "aluminum paper" blankets, she says.
"They treated us so horribly, as though we were animals," she wrote in the letter, in which she called herself "anonimo," anonymous.
But worst of all was not knowing the fate of her daughter or son for 21 days after they were taken from her, she wrote.

The account came via Grassroots Leadership, a nonprofit that describes itself as "a nationally recognized civil and human rights organization" that fights to "end prison profiteering, mass incarceration, and deportation." The group, which is circulating a petition to reunite separated families, posted the letter on its website on June 25. Four days later, the group posted several more accounts from women who had been separated from their children.”

sad it is so heartbreaking. There is surely a place in hell secured for Trump, Miller and anyone participating in this horrific action.

I can’t imagine what the parents are going through. They run from a country that they are in fear of their lives, seeking asylum in another, but are punished by having their children stolen from them, by the country they run to for help. Just horrible.

NBC news last night. They have to reunite 3000 children by this coming Tuesday by court order. 100 of them are under 5. They are doing DNA tests on all the children, another whole can of worms. There was no permission given. Powerful tracking tool for the rest of their lives. They can also use that to not give children to guardians, or hold up the process.

Kids As Young As 1 In US Court, Awaiting Reunion With Family

PHOENIX (AP) — The 1-year-old boy in a green button-up shirt drank milk from a bottle, played with a small purple ball that lit up when it hit the ground and occasionally asked for "agua."

Then it was the child's turn for his court appearance before a Phoenix immigration judge, who could hardly contain his unease with the situation during the portion of the hearing where he asks immigrant defendants whether they understand the proceedings.

"I'm embarrassed to ask it, because I don't know who you would explain it to, unless you think that a 1-year-old could learn immigration law," Judge John W. Richardson told the lawyer representing the 1-year-old boy............

I just saw that on the news. It’s disgusting. What the hell is wrong with this administration causing trauma to these children and the parents just because many of them were fleeing from harm in their own country? I haven’t seen anything like this in my lifetime in this country. This is a mess. How can it be legal for them to snatch babies/toddlers and other young children from their parents? Then put them in front of a judge? Is this country going back to kidnapping/stealing children and tearing families apart?
