Thousands protest to protect Muller investigation. Thank You!

Funny how the networks are not covering this.

Thousands in NYC Protest Trump Firing of Sessions
President Trump's firing of Jeff Sessions has potentially ominous implications for special counsel Robert Mueller's probe into Russia

https://www.nbcnewyork.co...92022.html
More than 6,000 people in New York City are protesting President Trump's ouster of attorney general Jeff Sessions, marching from Times Square to Union Square Thursday evening as they demand that special counsel Robert Mueller be allowed to continue his Russia investigation.

The demonstration was one of hundreds across the U.S. and overseas, quickly organized by the Move On advocacy group into a network called "Nobody Is Above the Law." The event page called for protests in each city at 5 p.m. local time Thursday.

The group says Trump "just crossed a red line" that violates the independence of special counsel Robert Mueller's Russia investigation.

More than 1,000 people started marching from Times Square at 5 p.m., holding sign reading "Nobody is above the law" and chanting "Hands off Mueller!" By 6:30 p.m. the crowd had swelled to more than 6,000 as they marched toward Union Square, according to law enforcement officials.
No One is above the law.

Well, thank everyone who took time from their lives to do this. America needs to thank you!

My kids went to the one in Houston last night. I didn't even know there was one in Houston last night until they told me it was over and they wanted me to buy them dinner somewhere downtown, LOL.

Don’t You find interesting that mainstream national media had also most nothing about this? I think it’s bizarre when thousands protest and you hear very title about it. Reminds me of how occupy Wall St and Bernie Sanders were originally treated. Not that I was on board with them, I just want all news reported fairly without institutional censorship.

Awesome that the your kids were clued in and went. Awesome that the Ocupy Wall St. Kids participated. Awesome that the youth supported Bernie Sanders and were able to bring him to nationional attention when CNN and everyone else ignored him.

Our son worked on a congressional campaign, so I'm not surprised he went. But our daughter caught the political bug and THAT has surprised the heck out of me!

I just checked the Houston Chronicle's site and saw nothing about yesterday's rally. At least they have a picture of the T-Wolves "City" uniform with a giant prince next to it.

And you know what else is intresting? The the UK’s The Guardian reported about this on their website. The Guardian reports on more “American” issues than home grown American news sources.

The Guardian of course has editorial independence as it is run as a trust and all monies generated go back to the newspaper instead of for profit.

Good on them.

In So-Cali the local TV news eclipsed the national news with coverage of the fires and the Thousand Oaks shooting. I did meet someone today who went to one of the protests.

IMO - there needs to be a bigger led time for these prtests... millions showed up to the Women's Marches which were all planned ahead of time.
