Vanity 6 on The Time's "Wild and Loose"

Got a question for the org...

Does anyone know if it's Vanity 6 doing the voices for the (hilarious) conversation at the end of the track? PrinceVault doesn't come up with anything. "Oh yeah..."

Prince: 1958-infinity. Thank U for everything.

One of them calls the other "Kim" so isn't the Kim Upsher?

I play that album 24/7. It's my favorite album by the Time. I always thought it was Kim Upsher and Susan Moonsie. You can hear Susan's slight Trinidadian accent and one of them is called upon as Kim.

I just want you here, I just want you near me baby, cause I'm scared I'll cry, I love you like crazy.
~RIP~

Yeah you're probably right, it sounds a lot like her accent. Not far from Jill Jones though.

I believe it is Kim Upsher and either Jill Jones or Susan Moonsie

Wild and loose (7:34)
recorded 14th-20th January 1982 by [Prince] at Sunset Sound [7] • performed by [Prince] (all instruments and vocals) with [Morris Day] (additional lead vocals and drums) & Vanity 6 (background vocals) • final mixing 20th-21st July 1982 at Sunset Sound
written by [Prince] with Dez Dickerson (both uncredited) • registered to [Prince] (as Jamie Starr) with Desmond D'Andrea Dickerson
finally released 1982 on the Album [What Time Is It?]

What's the matter with your life
Is poverty bringing U down?
Is the mailman jerking U 'round?
Did he put your million dollar check
In someone else's box?
Tell me, what's the matter with your world

Rhastus

We always use to turn the balance either all the way to the right or the left on the tape deck so we could hear just the girls or the fellas.

We don't need no microwave

I'm not sure why the credits say Vanity 6.I'm pretty sure that it's Kim Upsher and Jill Jones.

"hi Morris.....you spoke to me on the phone last night"........that is clearly Jill.

Yet another song where Jill is given no mention whatsoever. SIGH. She must feel like the invisible woman sometimes.
