I was curious as to why we haven't heard much from her. If she is releasing a book, I'm sure it will be very juicy. popcorn

I am not suprised because she appeared in the doc talking about Whitney in Kevyn Aucoin: Beauty and the Beast in Me (2017).

Whitney Houston is no longer around to defend herself or dispute anything written or said about her, if Robyn decides to talk about her.....let the poor woman rest in peace, she suffered enough while here on earth.

"Tell all" is not the campaign of this book but I'm sure she has a lot to say as she was the closest person in her life outside of her family.
Download all the shit hop that you can for your kids, neices, nephews, and their friends also. That will prevent them from going out and buying it and will prevent some shit hop sales. Every little bit helps - Andy

The book is to be titled: A SONG FOR YOU: MY LIFE WITH WHITNEY HOUSTON and is due in November 2019. Multiple sources had confirmed it. Just google "Whitney Houston" and it's the most prominent news story going on right now.

When the golden goose is gone, everybody's gotta make a little bit of cheese. But truth be told, that's their life and their memories... so, in a way it's revisiting a dead friend. That stuff is always griefful. Hopefully it's tasteful and not all salacious. My only interest would be in the trash talking (or lack of) about Bobby Brown.

Whether what's written is bad or good, let the woman rest in peace. God knows enough has been written about her already, what more is there to tell? Why write anything about someone, when they're no longer here to defend themselves against anything someone chooses to say about them? Whitney and her daughter are gone, and both suffered tremendously while on earth, let them rest in peace! What happened to respecting the dead?

I agree. IMO, it's all about money and greed! Why not write a book while Whitney was alive? I think we all know the reason for that, because she would have probably sued Robyn, and been angered about her putting her personal and private life in the public eyes! If we all know one thing about Whitney, it was that she thought people should mind their own damn business, and leave hers alone! But people are so nosy these days, and bored with their lives and life in general, that they love gossip and gossiping about others, wanting to know intimate details of their lives, something that's really none of their business! Unfortunately, this is what society has become, and it gets uglier by the day! We all need to step back and reaccess our behavior, and try to do better and change things for the better, because the world and the people in it are getting darker, and that's not good at all.

That could be said about anybody, such as Abraham Lincoln or Adolf Hitler. Yet people still continue to write new books about them. Books still come out about The Beatles and there's probably been over a thousand books about them over the decades. As long as there are people who will buy or read the books, then they will continue to be released. A book company is not that likely to publish biographies if they're not going to make a profit on them. People write or say things about people who were alive like the National Inquirer. Not many celebs have tried to sue them, I think Clint Eastwood did once.

People are no different than they've always been. There's just more technology recording it today. Some people in the USA want a wall on the border. Well there's a very famous ancient wall in China, and it didn't work. lol

I don't recall there being Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or technology recording people back in the day or back in time, so how can they NOT be different? Face it, the world has changed, and so has society and the people in it! And what does the USA wanting a wall on the border has to do with anything? The USA has always had a border, as well as other countries, as well they should! The USA has to protect the country and the people living in it, and if others want to come to America, then do so the right and legal way, like you're supposed to! And if those that don't like America, and care more about protecting the rights of non citizens than they do the citizens of their own land, then perhaps they should leave and take up citizenship elsewhere!

You said people are different. The Great Wall Of China was built to keep people out. That means people in the past do the same as people today. The Chinese wall did not keep anybody out and it was built with slave labor. Technology does not make anybody different. It just keeps more of a record. There was porn hundreds of years ago on playing cards. There is incest, murder, etc. in the bible. Wars happened in ancient times too. Hundreds of years ago people drowned & burned women/men/children for being accused of being witches. Columbus massacred people in the place he was supposed to have "discovered". White people went to different countries and did the same thing, including the USA. English, Spanish, & French are not languages native to North & South America. The native people did not speak any of that. The author Mary Shelley (Frankenstein) was said to have had sex on her mother's grave. Is any of that not dark? So how are people different today?

^^@MickyDolenz, yes, sin has been around since the beginning of time, and so has sinners, but you can't tell me that social media hasn't changed society. People don't respect anyone's privacy anymore, thanks to the invention of the camera phone, where they can photograph you and post your picture without you even knowing it! And social media has made people even more mean and nasty to one another, because they hide behind their phones and computers, saying vicious things that they would never have the guts to say to someone face to face! People have become bullies, trying to stifle others from speaking their minds, especially if you don't follow the pack or agree with their point of view! They will try to destroy you, and everything you have, with no remorse or compassion for their fellow man whatsoever! They won't even have a discussion anymore, it's an agree with me or else mentality! Just look at what they did to President Trump with all the Russian collusion lies and deception, that the man was found not guilty of.....and just because they hate him, and hate that the people elected him to be President! My God, you can't tell me that our society hasn't gotten worse, and so have we as human beings, and I think that social media had lot to do with it!

I don't think I implied anything, because I don't know what's written or will be written about Whitney, good or bad. I just think that she should be left in peace, since she's no longer here to reply to anything that's written about her, good or bad.....but that's just my opinion.

But why not talk about good things of the entertainer she was? Has it ever been expected that famous people have not/should not be talked about after they pass away?

.

I mean Whitney is no longer here. She is no longer bothered by the things of this world. It's not like she is checking social media or the news. She cannot be disturbed. Why would she reply anything good said. Are you concerned that Robyn is going to bring up 'gay' things?
.
Do you think she has never talked about other famous people that have passed on?

No, I am not concerned that Robyn is going to bring up "gay things". If you are gay, that's between you and God, he's the judge of everything that He's written in His word, the bible, not me! And like I said, I don't know what will be written about Whitney, that hasn't been written before, good or bad, I just feel the way I do on the subject, as I'm entitled to, just as you and everyone else is.

1 I never said you were not entitled, so no need to keep going there

2 Have you honestly always thought this way about entertainers that passed away? Do you feel the same about political figures / leaders?

3 Ok you are coming from a certain 'christian' standpoint, your opinion on if you feel 'gay things' are right or wrong just might have an influence on your opinion, that you are entitle to on this subject.

3b Whitney-Houstons-lesbian-lover-Robyn-Crawford-tell- I think that from the Daily strikes a nerve with people...

4 So what can actually be said that would 'not let Whitney rest in peace' as she is clearly from the bible, as His word says: For the living know that they shall die; but the dead know not anything, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.

@OldFriends4Sale, I don't understand your question....have I thought "what way" about entertainers that passed away? What, that they shouldn't be written about at all? If Robyn wants to write a book on her relationship with Whitney, that's fine, all I'm saying is that I don't think it's fair to Whitney, since she is no longer around to speak for herself in whatever is put into the book, whether she would agree with what's in or not what's in it, that's all! And to prove my point, in 3b it states "Whitney Houston's Lesbian Lover Robyn Crawford tells".....well, Whitney Houston has never stated that Robyn Crawford was her lover, and has never admitted to being involved in a lesbian relationship with her! Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I have never seen Whitney admit that or acknowledge that...have you? All I know, is that the woman (Whitney) and her daughter, suffered tremendously while they were alive here on earth, and she should be left alone now that she's no longer here, but that's just me! I think so much has been said about her already, most in a negative light, so why even go there once again?
